The On-Screen Keyboard is designed to assist people who use a pointing device such as a mouse, joystick or head-mounted device to type.
Windows 7
- Select the Windows logo ‘Start’ button.
- Select ‘Control Panel’.
- In the Control Panel, select ‘Ease of Access’.
- Select ‘Ease of Access Center’.
- Select ‘On-Screen Keyboard’.
- Load the application in which you wish to type.
- Select letters on the On-Screen Keyboard. The text should appear in your application.
Windows Vista
- Select the Windows logo ‘Start’ button.
- Select ‘Control Panel’.
- In the Control Panel, select ‘Ease of Access’.
- Select ‘Ease of Access Center’.
- Select ‘Start On-Screen Keyboard’.
- Load the application in which you wish to type.
- Select letters on the On-Screen Keyboard. The text should appear in your application.
Windows XP
- Select the ‘Start’ button.
- Select ‘All Programs’.
- Select ‘Accessories’.
- Select ‘Accessibility’.
- Select ‘On-Screen Keyboard’.
- Load the application in which you wish to type.
- Select letters on the On-Screen Keyboard. The text should appear in your chosen application.
