Audio described movies at Perth’s Movies by Burswood
Movies by Burswood is offering audio description at a large proportion of its Program 1 schedule which runs until 19 February. Program 2 will be released later in the season. Movies with audio description include Eat Pray Love, The Town, The Social Network and Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dream Treader.

Canadian coalition creates Access 2020
Access 2020 is taking the view that 1% of TV ownership transactions from now until 2015 should be spent on accessibility research, standards development and third-party monitoring of access. The crux of the argument is that media organisations gain significant benefits from being allowed to vertically integrate, and consumers should also receive benefits, including proper disability access.
