The American Council of the Blind and the Described and Captioned Media Program have announced their third annual contest for young people to write reviews of audio described films.

The Young Described Film Critic Contest is divided into three age categories: 7 to 10, 11 to 14 and 15 to 18. The top nominees will have a chance to win prizes for themselves and recognition for their schools, and will be invited to an awards ceremony at this year’s American Council of the Blind Convention in Reno, Nevada.

The contest is open to young people outside the United States, and the deadline for entries is Friday, 3 June.
