It is with great disappointment that upon downloading the fastest web browser for the iPhone, the highly anticipated Opera Mini, we find that neither VoiceOver or Zoom are supported by this application.

In a hands-on test, Media Access Australia have confirmed that while certainly faster than Safari, Safari must remain the browser of choice for people who are blind or vision impaired due to its support of the iPhone’s accessibility tools, namely VoiceOver and Zoom.

If you would like to try Opera Mini for the iPhone, visit Opera Mini Web browser on the iTunes preview website.
