The highly popular instant messaging iPhone app IM+ now has full VoiceOver support for people who are blind or vision impaired.

IM+ Pro is an all-in-one app that allows you to chat online using Twitter, Skype Chat, Facebook, Google Talk, Yahoo, MSN/Live Messenger, AIM/iChat, ICQ, MySpace and Jabber. It is available on the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Currently, only the full version (IM+ Pro) supports VoiceOver. SHAPE Services business development team official Natalia Kasyanova has confirmed that the next version of IM+ Lite (free version with embedded advertisements) will support VoiceOver. “We hope that it will make instant messaging even more available for blind users of iPhones and iPads,” Kasyanova said.

You can purchase IM+ Pro now from the Apple iTunes store for $12.99. The IM+ Lite is expected to be released by the end of August.
