Movie search engine Captionfish has just released an iPhone application (app) that streams captioned movie trailers for the Deaf and hearing impaired.

Although the Captionfish search engine itself only searches for accessible screening locations in America, its new, free iPhone app allows viewers to watch captioned movie trailers wherever they are in the world. You can also find synopses for movies that are now showing or coming soon.

To watch captioned trailers on Captionfish you will need either an iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4.0 or later.

Download the free Captionfish app from the iTunes website. Please note that some users of this very new app have experienced difficulties in viewing trailers, but Captionfish is working hard to correct the problem.
