Recently, about 30 web developers from over 20 government agencies attended an inaugural 4-day web accessibility workshop. The workshop introduced web developers to a set of guidelines on creating accessible content for people with disabilities.
As reported by Ng Ai Fern in The Star Online, “The workshop supports the Government’s aim to realising the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities Act and providing equal access to information and communication technology for persons with disabilities.”
