During the trial, two hours of audio described programs are being added to iview every day. To find them, go to iview, click on ‘Programs A-Z’ and select ‘Audio described’. Programs available this month include Agatha Christie’s Partners in Crime, Doctor Who, How Not to Behave, Please Like Me and Sammy J and Randy in Ricketts Lane. There are also a number of children’s programs, including Bubble Bath Bay, Charlie and Lola and Hoopla Doopla.
Prior to the extension to desktops, the audio described programs were only available on iPhones, iPads and Android devices. The trial is scheduled to run until the end of June 2016.
