54% of the Australian Visual Software Distributors Association (AVSDA) members' theatrical releases on the DVD shelves in May were audio described.
A total of 89 titles were researched this month. Of these titles, the following were audio described in other regions but not in Australia:
An Education and Broken Embraces from Paramount, It's Complicated from Universal and Planet 51 from Sony.
Media Access Australia has an online complaints form for DVDs without audio description. This provides a direct link to AVSDA, the distributors' association, in a concise format. AVSDA or the distributor concerned will reply directly to you. Make a complaint about a DVD without audio description.
