Established in 2000, LEAD attracts people in the arts industry whose common goal is to create cultural arts programs that are inclusive of people with disabilities and seniors. Presenters from around the world bring their expertise to the stage and this year’s conference includes presentations on:
- Theatre Captioning 101: Making sure the audience catches every word. Presented by Tabitha Allum, of STAGETEXT, UK.
- Facing the Challenge: approaching audio description script dilemnas. Presented by Roz Chalmers and Toby Daley of VocalEyes, UK.
- Basics: Planning for accessibility. Presented by Betty Siegel of the JFK Center for the Performing Arts, USA.
