The call for papers and workshops closes on 15 November 2015. The annual conference is aimed at people who provide access services and programs in the arts world and usually attracts a range of international speakers and experts looking at practical methods of providing accessibility.

There is also an open-captioned video about the conference.

One of the main instigators of LEAD is Director of VSA and Accessibility at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Betty Siegel, and she was interviewed in 2014 as one of Media Access Australia’s experts in access. The interview provides further insight into the LEAD conference.
