The Google Chrome blog post lists a number of changes to the latest version of Google Chrome operating system (Beta), including preliminary support for popular screen readers JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver.
In January this year, Media Access Australia reported that the next version of the Google Chrome operating system would include the standalone screen reader extension ChromeVox. According to a recent tweet by T.V. Raman (research scientist at Google) who is tweeting live from Google’s developer conference, Google I/O, developers will have early access to ChromeVox. There is no further information as yet.
