Media Access Australia’s New Media Manager Sarah Pulis will soon be jetting off to Washington DC for the world’s largest nonprofit technology conference, after winning a scholarship for her commitment to access to technology and social media.

Sarah, who has been at Media Access Australia since the beginning of 2010, is one of three non-profit staff awarded Connecting Up Australia's scholarship, with entries submitted from all over Australia. Worth up to $5,000 each, the scholarships cover return airfares, a $500 contribution to meals and accommodation, and registration to the March conference, organised by the US Nonprofit Technology Network.

"Attending the 2011 Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) is a fantastic opportunity for both me and Media Access Australia to gain further knowledge of the latest issues and trends, new technologies and international best practice, as well as expand our international connections,” Sarah said.
