The story of Wenlock and Mandeville - the official London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics mascots respectively -  can now be viewed online as an audio described YouTube video.

The audio described YouTube video tells the story of the creation of Wenlock and Mandeville. Most of the story is visual in nature, with little dialogue between the characters, making audio description crucial for those who are blind or vision impaired.

This is the first time that we have seen online promotional material audio described by an Olympic committee, and it bodes well for access to the London 2012 Olympics.

Stay tuned for further video installments in the Wenlock and Mandeville story.
