The iPad, which has a number of accessible features including the VoiceOver screen reader and captioned video, means that people who are blind or vision impaired could have the e-books read out to them during the flight, and people who are hearing impaired could potentially have closed captions available on the movies and TV shows. The trial will initially run for two weeks towards the end of June. Further information on the program can be found on the CNET news website.
