A number of iPhone users are reporting that the latest version of Skype for the iPhone 3GS has been updated to work with VoiceOver, the text-to-speech feature.

The update, released yesterday, enables VoiceOver to provide audio feedback on all Skype functions, including contacts and call history. The inclusion of VoiceOver support enables people who are blind or vision impaired to access the full benefits of Skype, including free phone calls to other Skype users around the world.

Further information about Skype for the iPhone can be found on the Skype website.
