W3C to launch community and business groups

no

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has announced plans to launch two new programs in May designed to make it easy for developers, users and other stakeholders to discuss and develop Web technologies.

The community and business groups will be designed to be open forums for developing specifications, holding discussions, developing test suites and building communities around innovation.

The aim is to improve participation opportunities which in the past have been limited to people who are part of a W3C member organisation or an invited expert.
