NVDA

NVDA is a free, open source screen reader that works with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and 7 (32 and 64 bit). NVDA is developed in Australia, and supports over 20 different languages.

Installation and portability

NVDA can be installed on to your computer using the easy-to-use talking installer or you can use the portable version and take NVDA with you on a USB stick or other portable media without the need for installation.

WebAnywhere is a simple, web-based screen reader that is limited to reading webpage content out to you. It works with any operating system and web browser, and no special software is required. It is ideal for use on a public computer.
