Media Access Australia wants to let you know about a trio of free events scheduled around the International Day Of People With Disability on 3 December. 'Youth, Mental Health and Inclusion in the Arts' will be staged in Ballarat on 28/11; 'Red Dog True Blue' is being audio described at Event Cinema Parramatta on 4/12; and you're invited to attend the 2016 Arts Access Victoria AGM on 6/12 in South Melbourne.

A 'Youth, Mental Health and Inclusion in the Arts' event is to be held on 28 November at Headspace Ballarat. The Partnerships and Possibilities: Youth, Mental Health and Inclusion in the Arts workshop is all about engaging young people living with mental health issues, local artists and arts organisations, mental health services and local council arts, disability and community development professionals. This event is free, but bookings are essential and can be made by emailing Linda Studena or calling 03 8640 6013 before 5pm Thursday 24 November.

To celebrate the International Day of People with Disability, the next instalment in the ‘Red Dog’ movies, Red Dog True Blue will be audio described at Event Cinemas in Westfield Parramatta at 11am on Sunday 4 December. This is ahead of the general cinematic release on Boxing Day. Ericsson Broadcast & Media, who are audio-describing Red Dog True Blue are holding an informal forum afterwards at the same event - which is free. Yet seats are limited, so you will need to register to be able to attend, which you can do by contacting IDEAS on freecall 1800 029 904 or by SMS on 0458 296 602.

You are invited to attend the 2016 Arts Access Victoria AGM from 6–8pm on 6 December at South Melbourne Community Centre. The night will be a celebration of the achievements and outcomes of 2016, and will feature the announcement of the Lesley Hall Arts and Disability Scholarship winner.
