Riverside Theatres in Parramatta are staging a large number of accessible screenings of a variety of popular films including the latest releases, over the Summer season.

All of the upcoming special event screenings at Riverside Theatres offer a great level of disability access, with their line-up of movies allowing specific access points covering Open Captions, Audio Description, AUSLAN interpretation, Tactile Tours, and/or Relaxed Performances. They also offer level access and space for wheelchairs in all venues and have accessible toilet facilities located at either end of the main foyer.

Mel Gibson’s new masterpiece, Hacksaw Ridge, is running 16 and 17 December and will be open captioned on 16 December with Audio Description headsets available to patrons for both screenings on 16 and 17 December. To attend either session, booking prior to the screening is essential.

Riverside’s season of accessible movies continues with the sensational Inside Out having three sessions Audio Described and one screening Open Captioned, the classic The Lion King running 10-23 January with one screening Open Captioned, an Audio Described screening of the new Ghostbusters on 10 January, and Jurassic World on 24 January with Audio Description and Open Captioning, among their accessible January releases.
