Dr Manisha Amin has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of leading Not For Profit web and digital accessibility organisation, Media Access Australia. Her appointment by the Board of Directors will see her join the team on Monday 5 September.

Manisha has a strong background in the Not For Profit sector with 15 years’ experience in senior roles at high-profile organisations. She was most recently the General Manager, Marketing & Fundraising, at Barnardo’s where she was instrumental in directing a number of successful initiatives over her five years at the charity.

Before that she was the Director, Marketing and Communications at the Cancer Council, and prior to that role held a similar position at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. Manisha has a PhD in Arts and Social Science, and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), both from the University of Technology, Sydney.

In other team news, Heidi Laidler joined the Media Access Australia Sydney office in July as a User Experience Designer. She is in her final semester of study towards a Bachelor of Design Computing at the University of Sydney and has previous workplace experience in graphic design, training, sales, managing staff, and logistics. Matthew Putland, who works out of Media Access Australia’s Perth office, has been promoted to Senior Analyst, Digital Accessibility, to better reflect his current and future responsibilities.
