What's the difference between WCAG 2.0 and PDF/UA?
There’s a Chinese proverb that says, “Tell me, I’ll forget. Show me, I may remember. But involve me, and I’ll understand.” It’s a good approach to take when you’re in charge of training people to become accessible content creators.
Is the term ‘accessible template’ an oxymoron? I’ve been pondering this question over recent weeks while working on various documents for a range of clients and realising that, while the end result of using an accessible template is an accessible document, the usability of the template itself is often lacking.
The collective knowledge around the creation of accessible PDFs is slowly but surely growing, making this flexible format more widely available to people of all abilities. But what if you make your PDF accessible, yet someone still finds it inaccessible because of the way they open it?
